CyberSwarm, founded by Mihai Raneti, has raised a $50 million Series A led by Falanga Invest Perton.
The hardware is built on a memristor architecture that processes information simultaneously, in the manner of biological neurons. The capital goes into architecture development, engineering hiring, industry partnerships and first commercial implementations, across automotive, aerospace, defence, healthcare and robotics.
“Neuromorphic computing is not meant to replace digital systems,” Raneti says. It is a new computational layer between traditional and quantum computing, designed for problems neither solves efficiently.
Jan Imrisek of Falanga Invest Perton says the fund invested on the strength of the company’s technical expertise, its original intellectual property and its long-term vision.
